A recent survey by the Business Application Research Center (BARC), which included all 136 BI-Software vendors in Germany has found that in 2007 the market for Business Intelligence Software in Germany reached an overall volume of 689 million Euros. The four leading vendors own almost 50% of the overall market revenue. The market grew an impressive 13,7% between 2006 and 2007.
